Raven & I went for a stroll on Sunday, and we happened upon a few Open Houses that we wish we could expunge from our brains. 505 Selby Ave #14 was the one that most caught my eye. There was another one across the street that Raven liked just a little bit more. (We imagine the cats would love it.) It had a spiral staircase and a very open floor plan, with some exposed brick to boot. Then I had to go and notice this listing in Marina City in Chicago. Dangit! We’re not ready to move yet!
<grumble>
To take my mind off housing wants, I decided to give Unconscious Mutterings a go this week…

My free time and my motivation don’t seem to be on speaking terms right now. Of course, it doesn’t help that I have very little free time….
I’ve had another rough week…. I wasn’t feeling well last Thursday and went home early and ever since then off and on I’ve been plagued by an upset stomach. It didn’t help that I had misplaced my Glucose Meter as well that morning, and had been without it until Raven re-located it last night. I was still able to take insulin all that time obviously, but I was not able to adjust up or down if my blood sugar was wonky. Being sick elevates your blood sugar levels as well, so that may have been contributing to my general feelings of blah-ness.
So, I’ve been a complete zombie, working, sleeping, and then sleeping some more. I’ve also been pretty non-enthused about school. Oh well, there are only days left… I think I can make it….
Oh! I happened upon More, and would highly recommend you watch it. No really, I mean it. Go on, do it now, I’ll be here when you’re done.

Man, I’ve been having a rough week or so. The work/school monster is sucking my will to live, and Raven & I had quite the full weekend.
We went to see The Rivals at TRP on opening night, from which we rushed ourselves further downtown to the Midnight Movie @ Block E, which was Dusk Till Dawn.
Then, umm, I slept through Saturday, but got up in time for the special Midnight show of The Rocky Horror Show at the U. It’s kinda weird for Raven & I to spend time at Rarig, with her having graduated from the U and me having…uhh…been there before. Seriously though, I’ve hung lights in 3 out of the 4 theatres in that building and had more than one class there, always with the assumption that a B.A. in Theatre would be the outcome. Now, I’m working on a B.S. (quiet) in a totally different area…..but I digress….
Sunday was for more sleep, errands, and of course, an early start to the new work week @ midnight… ugh
