OK, update time. Let’s see. First of all, I cleaned up all the links, so nothing should be broken anymore! Second, I am going to go see my first Lifelike show tonight. With any luck my “good freind”™ Kolya will be joining my wife and I as well.
Other than that, I will still be working at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival every weekend through September 29th. Also, on November 1st I will be participating in America’s Walk for Diabetes (Kinda selfish of me, I know, seeing as I have diabetes and all…) and I would be grievously ungracious if I did not permit you all the chance to SPONSOR ME! If anyone else wants to join our team please let me know as well. We will actually be rollerblading in the Metrodome.
Oh, and one more thing. I guess we will probably go ahead and register www.hofman-frethem.com for our domain name. Which probably means this will be blog.hofman-frethem.com at some point…at least, that or gseven.hofman-frethem.com…I guess it depends on what Amanda wants to do with her half of the site. (Isn’t it nice of me to share like that?) Anyways, I will let you all go. Enjoy your weekend and we’ll see what develops on Monday!

Err, well, I’m a wastin’ time anyway. I really should have more self-discipline I suppose, but I spent a little too much time on this here web page today. But, the rewards are many! (Well, two anyway.) I have created the Profile page and I created the Guestbook. Stay Tuned!

Well, I did a little work here and there today. With any luck, I may just unveil this sucker as my MAIN web presence any day now. (I can’t believe I just referred to my blog as my “web presence”…I am definitely a sick individual…)

Well, this is it. I have decided that, we no longer killed Kenny. After all, Kenny hasn’t even been on South Park for the last 2 seasons! So, I am moving the site into a new arena…
WEBlog! Yes, it’s true, there are many blogs out there, most of which are probably more interesting or better designed than the one you will see take shape here, but on the other hand, I don’t care!

Well, here we are, about 8 hours away from the 12:01am showing of Ep II, and I am just as anxious and excited as I said I wasn’t going to be. Let me back up a bit….
After what can be described as a lukewarm personal response to Ep I, I became determined to not get overly-excited about the latest Star Wars movie. After all, the more I watched Menace, the more I appreciated it. However, I still felt some kind of geek obligation to go and see the movie at 12:01, I mean, that’s when I saw Lord Of The Rings the first time, and that’s when I saw the first 3 Batman movies, etc. I even thought I would go to the new shiny AMC Eden Prairie 18 to see it. However, after repeated attempts at purchasing tickets online, I finally drove over to their box office and they told me they were sold out.
This is where I realized that my geekdom was merely in hibernation. I was really starting to worry that I wouldn’t be able to see it @ Midnight. I checked with 2 other theatres nearby and they too were sold out! What was I to do? I finally did find out that Marcus Cinema Oakdale (Which, coincidentally, was where I first saw Fellowship.) had tickets available online, and I was able to purchase them.
So, My wife & I, (and eight of our closest friends) will be attending this Midnight show, and IT’S ALL I CAN BLOODY THINK ABOUT!!! I guess maybe my name tag should read “Super Geek“.
